At an unconference on education technology that I attended, elementary and middle school students were present to help educators learn about apps and online games during breakout sessions. I was given a lesson from one fourth grade on Animoto (https://animoto.com/), and another sixth grader gave the entire audience a walk through of the online game, Minecraft (https://minecraft.net/). The students were able to confidently share their knowledge about apps and online games they use all the time. It may be hard to switch roles, but allowing an educator the opportunity to ask questions and learn from their students.
