Have you had parents ask you for book recommendations to help support their children? The Parenting Bookshop is a space where you can provide materials that you know would be helpful for your school's community. You can start by ordering recommended books that parents can browse when they come to school and buy if they'd like. You could also turn it into a library where parents can borrow the books. This can also be a space to provide resources for parents to help give their children social and emotional support and helpful tips on how parents can use the books to have conversations with their children at home. This hack helps address the social and emotional needs of your students, as well as boosting a relationship with your school community.
